Tennessee Tri State Tourney

I am still here and studying all the time. I am still determined to move up the food chain.

We have just returned from the Tennessee tourney held By Ray Jenkins in Philadelphia Tennessee. This spot was just two exits up from Sweetwater Tennessee on the interstate headed to Knoxville. It was a great time. The weight class was 209+ and I havent had time to lose my winter coat so heavyweights it was. I believe there was 11 guys in the supers and 8 or so in the masters heavyweight. I seriously was just looking at doing the best I could and yes I took it right out there to the best of my abilities. Left it on the table in the end and managed to get out without a loss. My hats off to these guys . They were all ready to do their thing and all of them took something a little different each time added to the way I pull in order to get to the prize. This means there were places in the pull that I was fortunate enough to keep others from reaching to prevent them from using it on me.

It takes alot to set up and go anywhere that is 600 miles away to armwrestle and you cant just do it from week to week but next week is the Battle of the Giants in Albany Georgia which is about a 3 hour drive for us so we will be trying to attend that one. I guess if I pull it will be the 231 class but after that time is too near to the Nationals at Kings Island in Cinncinatti Ohio for us to be playing any surfer music. Just a meer 90 days or less which is 12 weeks to adjust the body and bring up the regular training tempo and reach for the national size cookie. I will be working only for that tourney after the Battle of the Giants.  I will be back and make some more entries on progress and such if anyone is interested but I am sitting in a small slump currently on quality of life improvements although I will be past alot of that by june. should be plenty to talk about between now and then. there should be a results up on this past tourney and the battle of the giants afterwards up at

 Until next time.
