I am completly new to Arm Wrestling.
I have 9 months to train to get ready for my first ever competition at my local county fair. What kind of exercises and training should I do to be ready for the rigors of my first tournament? Thanks for any advice that is given to me in advance.

Well 9 months should be enough time to build a solid base. The most important thing in my opinion is to find a partner to train with. This is the most important thing you can do. Do Hammer curls, table curls, wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, leverage bar work for wrists, plate wrist curls, hand gripper work the list can go on and on.Add triceps and shoulders in as well. But as i mentioned before a partner with experience to teach you is vital.

Thanks for the advice. I will do that. How many days a week should I work out. Could somebody post me a 7 day workout schedule to get me ready for the competition in 9 months. And any nutritional advice like what I should start eating cause I want to eat right also. I want the full package. Any help would be most appreciative. Thanks you guys in advance. I ordered a book that I will be receiving in a few days. Ultimate ArmWrestling Tips and Training. I can't wait untill it gets here.

it is up to each individual . You have to seek what is right for you. It is the same with all wrestlers. Only you know what your max is. A word of advice. Dont be afraid to push it. Others do and you would only be surprised.
