Post information about Michigan armwrestling tournaments here. As the Tournaments Forum is only for tournament posting, please save any discussion about armwrestling tournaments for our General Discussion Forum.

The absolute best and fastest way to be notified about tournaments in your area as soon as they are announced is to register with arm-wrestling.org and then subscribe to your state's tournament thread by clicking the "Notify" button at the top of the thread. You will then be notified within a few minutes by email when a new tournament is announced for that state!

July 26, 2008 - Sanction # 966-08 - Michigan State Armwrestling Championship - Ionia Free Fair, 317 S. Dexter, Ionia, MI

Registration:  7/25   6:00pm - 9:00pm       6/26   Juniors 8am - 10:30am     Open classes 8am- 11:30am

                       Competition starts: Juniors at 11:30am, Open classes at 12:30pm

Entry fee:  $25 / Open        $15 / Additional entries        $5 / Juniors & Teens      Teams Free

Men's Right Hand:  63kg, 70kg, 78kg, 86kg, 95kg, 105kg, 105+kg

Men's Left Hand:  63kg, 70kg, 78kg, 86kg, 95kg, 105kg, 105+kg

Women's Right Hand:  67kg, 67+kg

Women's Left Hand:  67kg, 67+kg

Juniors ages 13 - 17 Boys Right Hand :  57kg, 70kg, 78kg, 95kg, 95+kg

Juniors ages 13 - 17 Girls Right Hand :  57kg, 57+kg

Juniors 12 & under:  ages 5 and under, ages 6 - 9, ages 10 - 12 (Girls & Boys together)

Note: Parents must be present to sign permission slip and waiver - NO EXCEPTIONS.  All teens & junior contestants must have birth certificate and or drivers license/state ID.

Awards: Open/ Sculptured Arms 1st - Gold, 2nd - Silver, 3rd - Bronze        Juniors & Teens / Resin Arms 1st thru 3rd

               Teams / 7 man teams all from same state 1st place trophy

King of the Hill Overall:  Right Hand 1st = $400        Left Hand 1st = $400

Hotel:  Super 8 Motel 616-527-2828 ask for Armwrestling Rate $50/night, all motels sell out in the area over this weekend, reserve ahead.
