First thing is to get him on a regulation table. When you armwrestle other places, guys just slide their elbows a lot, which negates any advantage you can gain. By armwrestling on a table, you ensure that their elbow cannot travel - it makes it a lot easier to take them down.
There are a lot of techniques you could try. One you could do is to try to really surprise him and give him a huge burst as soon as the match starts. To do this, you should remain completely relaxed before the match begins. This way, he won't be able to give you any resistance. If you can surge with a ton of force before he can react, you can pin him in no time flat!
Another is to really concentrate on getting out on his fingers. He will be gripping your hand tight. Take advantage of that and just let go with your hand. Don't make it obvious, but let go. You will gradually start sliding out on his fingers. When you do get out a ways so that his weakest link is his wrist because he cannot really use his bicep anymore, clamp down with your fingers, lean in with your shoulder, and press him to the ground.
Also remember to ALWAYS keep your should as close to your hand as possible. Never let that gap open more than a few inches, or else you will lose your strength. Also remember to pry his hand as far away from his shoulder as possible.
There are also psychological tactics you can take. Build his confidence up a lot before the match, let him know he will probably win easily, make it so that he is wrestling with nothing to win and everything to lose since he is expected to win. This will likely relax him. One of my favorite lines is something to the effect of "I know you are gonna kill me. I just hope we both get out of this without breaking our arms like I have seen on TV before." This last part about breaking your arm really takes the wind out of a competitor's sails! I have literally slammed people's hands into bar tables so hard that their knuckles are bleeding using exactly the mental tricks I referenced above.
Good luck, and let me know how it goes!
