What to do?

I will be entering my first tournament in two weeks and was wondering what would be the best preparation the week before it. I heard not to arm wrestle ten days before so that my arm has plenty of rest. If anyone would like to give me anymore tips that would help in getting ready i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I don't know if this is what you are looking for or what but in my early tournament days I didn't realize that I had to warm up my muscles before going at it in the tournament.  Now I stretch and everything a whole lot before competing.  I also bring a light dumbbell or make sure one of my friends is bringing one - nothing heavy but just 25 or 30 pounds so that bicep and shoulder and forarm and all that can be warmed up.  Some one explained it to me once like you wouldn't do your max bench press without warming up so why would you do your max armwrestling without warming up.  Hopefully that makes sense - it did to me and it also makes me noticeably stronger when my muscles are good and warm first.
