Bruising on Elbows
Reply Quote

Hi,

I have been arm-wrestling for a few months.  Mainly on the table or bar top and I have noticed especially after this weekend just gone that I have some real nasty bruises on my elbows.  Can anyone advise if this is normal?  Secondly, I have almost finished my armwrestling table and plan to put bit of padding for where my elbow goes should this prevent this bruising?  Is it fair to say that this bruising is a result of arm-wrestling on a solid table top rather than a padded table??   The only other thing I can think of is that it is because (althought I try not to), I move around a little on the table (maybe a few inches) depending on what my opponent is doing.  Perhaps this movement combined with the pressure on the table is causing the skin in the area to rub -producing this bruising.  Has anyone had any similar experiences?

Any info would be handy.

Thanks
