Hello, Im an amatuer armwreslter or a wannabe amatuer armwreslter.  Im 25 and have been pulling for about 5 years with friends and people I meet.  I live in Gainesville Florida (go Gators!) and am looking for an amatuer league or an amatuer tournament in my area.  I can travel as far as jax but would like one in gainesville if possible.  If anyone could help me find a league that would be very nice.  Appreciate the help.

Did you ever find any arm wrestling groups, etc. in the Atlanta area.

I am interested in competitive arm wrestling, but never tried it before and would like to get into it.

Hey, guy. I did hook up with someone from the Alpharetta area, which is pretty far away from me. He has a practice group (mostly larger, heavier, tournament ranked guys) who meet weekly. I used to trade pins with him, but now he beats me easily. Technique is key. I prefer just strength matches, but technique is what to learn to win in tournaments.

Any luck on your end?

Ron Bath lives near Atlanta, Georgia! He is one of the best armwrestlers in the United States and even has a world ranking! He has been armwrestling since the 80's, he could teach you guys some stuff.
