Davide Cappa took 3rd place in the SENIOR MEN RIGHT +95KG category, taking the podium next to Trubin and Pushkar. This is quite a feat, especially seeing that the Italian pays no special attention to training.
I don't go to a gym, I train when I work – he says. I'm a stonemason, i lift lots of weight in my work.
I sometimes work out at the table with some friends, but I don't have much time for that because of work.
He speaks shortly of Zloty Tur: - The fights were very high-level, and I just had a lot of fun. Since my last start at the Nemiroffs', I improved my technique a little and so I could get better scores.
His hardest fight was with ... Trubin.
I couldn't take my ideal position and I was tired from previous fights – says Cappa.
The Italian has met international champions before, but he lacked experience back then. Now he's waiting for his chance. He will work hard this year.
I'll see what I can improve – he says.
