On January 9th the fifth South Polish Championships in Wodzislaw Slaski under the auspices of the Federation Armwrestling Poland were held. The main organizer, as in previous years, was Wodzisławski Cultural Center with Przemyslaw Gajdowicz at the helm. Over 70 competitors from the whole Poland came to the tournaments. Despite the location deep in the south of Poland, representatives of such clubs as: UKS 16 Koszalin, Python Warsaw, Zloty Niedzwiedz Bydgoszcz, Szaki Zary, but also the nearby clubs and especially the Tytan Jaworzno club that put up the largest group of 32 players, came.
