Lubuskie Vojvodeship Armwrestling Championships took place for the 4th time. This time they were organized by the city of Żary and the UKS Szaki Żary Club (so far the Championships were organized by UKS Złoty Orzeł Choszczno). This year’s edition initiators were the participants of the Żary Armwrestling Club themselves - Rafał Fiołek and Sławomir Szkoła. Żary Association ‘‘Tobie i Miastu” and the Town Cuncil of city Żary gave their helping hands as usual. The tournaments took place on 22 nd August 2009 in the Recreational-Service Centre "AMBER" in Żary.
