The Congress was attended by representatives of 37 members of World Armwrestling Federation, which considered the agenda of 10 questions. It included confirmation of the results and reports of activities in 2015, the adoption of new members of the federation, the election of the president and the board of the federation, elections of host-countries for future world championships. During the 2015-2016 year for membership in the World Armwrestling Federation nine countries filed documents: Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Kuwait, Nepal, Ghana, Costa Rica, Mauritania and Libya. Due to the fact that six countries have not provided the necessary package of papers, only three countries were adopted in WAF: Lebanon, Ghana and Costa Rica . Important issues that determine the direction of the entire Federation development, was the election of the President and members of the board. Only one candidate ran for thepost of WAF President - the incumbent president, the representative of Bulgaria
